Three nursing mama cats along with twenty kittens of different ages were rescued from a fish factory by a caring lady and her incredible ‘cat-like’ singing. Her name is Mona Boucher and she has a very special talent!
She has the ability to sound like a meowing cat and she uses this to lure cats and kittens alike out of dangerous situations.

In this video you will see that the younger kittens were attracted to Mona’s meowing and they all came out from their hiding spot.As soon as they reached the fence, Mona grabbed them through a hole underneath it.
She set out traps to catch the bigger kittens and their feral cat mamas, so they could all get the care they needed to thrive.

There were 7 adorable kittens rescued that were all around 5 weeks old.
When they reached 8 weeks old they were separated from their very feral mom so as not to learn her human attacking ways – then it was time to go to their foster home.

They were hesitant at first but it didn’t take long for them to get settled in and soon they were running around getting up to all sorts of mischief.
They were also doing some hilarious ‘hopping’ around which led to them being named after the rabbits in the classic novel Watership Down. (scroll down for video)
There was Strawberry…

Blackberrie…

Campion…

Speedwell…

Acorn…

Dandelion…

And last but not least, little Laurel…

They were now safe and happy, spending their time play fighting and snuggling.

Considering their beginnings all seven turned out to be the sweetest little furballs.

And it didn’t take long for this delightful family to find their forever homes.
